who’s Disco?
every team has it’s mascot. IN our case, that’s Disco?
Disco is what we like to call our every-person. If you’re familiar with the exciting grind that’s involved with film making, you know we’re constantly moving; Traveling, editing, shooting, driving, loading in and out, pounding the keyboard, writing contracts, and on the rare occasion, sitting down to grab a bite and a cup-o-joe. Disco does all of that, and if you’re lucky you might see him, but not often. Keep your eyes peeled for the little devil, he’ll be dashing around somewhere.
He doesn’t know when to say slow down.
Disco is always working. He doesn’t take breaks, doesn’t check the clock, and doesn’t ever really stop. If there’s a shoot happening—whether it’s a feature film, a scrappy commercial, or just a test run—Disco’s already halfway through rigging lights or fine-tuning a camera setting before anyone else arrives.
He’s the kind of crewmate who somehow ends up doing five jobs at once, not because he has to, but because he can’t help himself. Framing shots, running cable, checking sound levels—he’s there, focused and moving fast, even when the rest of the team is still figuring out what day it is.
He doesn’t talk, but he’s always thinking. Always fixing. Always planning the next setup.
Disco’s not here for attention. He’s here to make sure the work gets done—and gets done right.
